Mushie peas tasted salty and the chips where very dry. And the Donna meat was really dry and hard and tasted like it had been there for ages.
The chilli sauce tasted discutting. That definitely was NOT sweet chilli sauce. As we should know as we have sweet chilli sauce alot. Very unsatisfied. Always try a place once to see what there like. But certainly will NOT be using that chippy again. It's disgusting 🫣

Amazing fish and chips. This chippy could not do better, everything was perfect, portion size, flavour, cooked perfectly, nice batter and friendly staff, fair prices and eco friendly cardboard packaging. Well done Hunters you made our visit to the East coast area worth it ! Thank you 😃😃😃

We are visiting a friend and come here for tea. A fantastic take away that not only offers just the classic Fish & Chips but pizza and other dishes, plus ice cream. They had some great deals on when we went, I got Sausage, Chips and Peas for £5 and my wife got a small Fish, Chips and a side for £6.10. Cracking deal! Plus, the lady who served us was super friendly. They had sold out of the donner meat and footlong sausages but she sorted me out with something for the same price.

Lovely friendly service feel so happy comfortable taking my child in with additional needs they all go above and beyond to make us feel welcome us and help us with our needs the foods amazing as allways beutifull happy place will never use another fish amd chip shop thank you to the team for making my son welcome all the time and chatting with him he's so happy with you all I can not express how relaxed we feel coming in to shop now and not just having to order over the phone amazing menu aswell different things to try just perfect love to all !

Great fish and chips , stayed nearby so had a treat .fish was cooked to order but was so worth the wait and there were so many chips . Would definitely recommend, we will be back

Very poor meal, chips are so thin they nearly were crisps, scampi very dry, has to be the worst meal I’ve had from a chip shop
Only thing nice was the pie as it was not made by them, also my order was incorrect

No card just cash.
Coop has a cash machine, nice cod and chips with a double scampi and chips. Mushy peas a bit bland and stiff, maybe a bit of mint and black pepper would go down well. Nice boxes, no fork. £21.

Used to love this chippy but it's no longer the same. The high prices used to make sense as it was the best food but now they can't even get your order right.

I’ve been going to this chip shop for a few years and it has been gradually going down hill. My last two orders have been wrong, I only noticed when I got home, 7 miles away, so not worth driving back. On this occasion there was a portion of chips missing and the chips are now sliced so thinly that most chips are crunchy and hard. When this thin, they absorb more oil, so not good for your arteries! A large portion of chips comes in a larger box, but weighs very similar to a standard portion, so large portions are not worth the extra cost. Prices are also above average and they only take cash.

Was working near this chippy was that good we ended up having it 3 days in a row. Irish curry 10 out of 10. The place is spotless. Staff are friendly especially Sandra. Definitely worth a try to the ones rhat haven't tried it.

The curry sauce was very sweet and quite an odd flavour. The portion sizes were OK however the chips were very scrappy and not really chips at all. The fish was nice and a good size for the small option.

Good chippy. Would go there again. Chips were a little too crunchy for me but that's personal taste. Rest if it was great. Liked the fact there was a wide range menu too as my partner is fussy. Will be trying pizzas next hopefully just as good.

Good old cod and chips, it can't be beaten when it's done right and Hunters know how to do that.
